Currently, all PAPO flight crew training programs and safety
clinics are scheduled by appointment only and are currently
conducted in San Diego, California, or at an appropriate location
designated by the client, trainee or clinic sponsor. All PAPO
courses and clinics are comprehensive, structured and formalized
training programs developed to aid in improving overall passenger
safety and professionalism amongst commercial parasail operators.
Our trained and dedicated staff of instructors is extensively
experienced; all are knowledgeable seasoned commercial operators
who are actively involved in the development and implementation
of the most advanced training techniques available.
PAPO training programs and clinics are currently designed
to familiarize the trainee with basic safety standards and
techniques, while providing he or she with the tools necessary
to develop the knowledge and skills needed to operate more
safely and competently.
Our training program consists of 40 hours of intensive instruction,
covering both theory, video overview, and practical participation,
conducted both on land and on water.
Safety clinics consist of 10-20 hours of theory, technique
discussion and video overview, and may also include some practical
participation.
